Connecting to Care CT!
On October 20, 2021 the Collective welcomed Jules Calabro, LCSW the Network of Care Manager for Western Connecticut from Beacon Hills Options. During the workshop Jules talked about Connecticut’s work to transform the children’s behavioral health system within our state. Connecticut’s Network of Care Transformation (CONNECT) grant, known as Connecting to Care, is working to bridge gaps in services and create an integrated system of care so families can access the services they need in a timely and effective manner.
Jules discussed their current work on Family Care Connections and goals to support the communication and collaboration across the child-serving systems (pediatric primary care, education, and behavioral health) to make services easier for families to access and navigate.
There are regional hubs across Connecticut that are ready and able to help you connect mental health services to the families and children you serve. Let’s break down the silos in CT and start coordinating care! For resources, contact information, and far more program details, we hope you take advantage of all the resources listed below!
