January’s Professional Development: Somatic Embodiment and Mindfulness
The first Collective Workshop of 2025 took place on January 22, 2025. For our Collective Wisdom Series our guest was Elaine Gallas, LPC. a mental health therapist, trained in Embodied Holistic Healing and Somatic Embodiment and Psychotherapy. In this experiential workshop, participants explored the intersection of mindfulness and somatic embodiment practices to enhance emotional regulation, manage stress effectively, and cultivate a sense of inner calm. Through guided exercises and body-centered mindfulness practices, they learned how to integrate simple somatic practices for daily life to foster balance and well-being.
This workshop was a great way to start the new year off so participants can manage the ever growing stress and pressures that we find ourselves in in this ever changing world of ours. We hope you enjoy the full workshop recording, as well as other resources provided by Elaine.
