Welcome to our Newest Collective Member!

AMH Youth & Family Services, led by Executive Director Tressa Giordano, joined the Collective in February 2021 and jumped in with both feet! We were pleased when they agreed to help, along with several other Collective communities, to distribute 87,000 clear masks in collaboration with the CT Office of Early Childhood. We couldn’t have done it without their help! We look forward to our continued work together!

Andover, Hebron and Marlborough (AHM) Youth and Family Services was founded in 1983 through a grassroots effort of a small group of local residents. Their vision was to incorporate and create a regional family focused agency based upon the Youth Services Bureau model found in communities across Connecticut.

Over the years, the regional non-profit Youth Services Bureau has served thousands of children and families.  AHM is one of the hundred and two Youth Service Bureaus (YSBs) statewide.  We are the parent organization of both a Youth Services Bureau and a Family Resource Center.

This agency’s comprehensive family focused service delivery system includes the provision of juvenile justice, prevention, mental health, and positive youth development programs for local children, teens and adults.

Mission

The mission of AHM is to: “provide mental health and positive youth development services that assist children, young people, and their families in creating a supportive and caring environment, for them to reach their maximum potential as members of society.”
