Learn More About the Pyramid Social-Emotional Learning Model
On February 9, 2022, the Collective welcomed Lisa Swain, ED.S. to teach us about the Pyramid Model and all that it has to offer regarding social-emotional learning.
We all know that with COVID-19 children of all ages, along with their parents and adults are experiencing unprecedented levels of anxiety and depression. How can teachers help to nurture children’s mental health by teaching through the lens of social-emotional learning, and how can parents and caregivers best support the emotional needs of their children? The Pyramid model has many resources and information that will help parents, providers, teachers, and community programs alike. Now, more than ever, we need all the support we can get.
