The highlighted brochure and short video was put together by a committee of parent volunteers and professionals from Great by 8 in West Hartford, one of our local collaborative partners, as part of their PLTI Program. PLTI stands for Parent Leadership Training Institute. The project was to create information for parents to use and share regarding how to find high quality child care.

Karen Scheinerman, from the 2022 PLTI class says of the project, “We are hoping to get this information on as many websites as possible in the area as it is free and downloadable and we want the information to reach new parents.
We are reaching out to Pediatricians, OEC, Pediatric clinics etc. and Nurturing Families etc. Two Pediatricians in the area have already said yes!”
