The Center for Family Voice at Groundwork Ohio

Here is a wonderful example of how another state is working toward raising parent and family voice. We hope you read through their efforts and gain insights and ideas as it can inform the work we are doing here in Connecticut.
Last week, the Center for Family Voice at Groundwork Ohio unveiled a new report that examines best practices to put families at the center of early childhood policy development and makes recommendations on how Ohio can better empower families to drive change and improve the healthy development of young children.
At the Center for Family Voice, we’re deeply committed to equity and eliminating the entrenched disparities in systems that serve pregnant women, young children, and families. We believe that the lived experiences of families make them uniquely qualified to help shape early childhood policies and programs.
