Census Day April 1, 2020- No Fooling!
April 1, 2020 is being observed nationwide as Census Day. By this date, every home should have received an invitation to participate in the 2020 Census. Many of our partners provided workshops and information sessions to their communities about the Census, explaining how safe it is to fill out—and how important it is too. The census determines funding for communities related to schools, and the delivery of basic human needs, and other vital resources. Please encourage families to ask for help if they need filling it out. They can respond to the census in three ways: online, by phone, or by mail. When filling out the census, they should include everyone that is living in their home as of April 1, 2020. The census is available in many different languages, and there are census workers available to help. For more information about the census and how it affects communities please visit:
